KOREA LIFE SCIENCE WEEK 2025 concluded successfully after being held from September 30 to October 1 at COEX Hall D in Seoul.
This year’s event simultaneously featured three exhibitions — KOREA LIFE SCIENCE (International Pharmaceutical, Bio, and Healthcare Industry Exhibition), KOREA LAB Autumn (International Laboratory, Analytical & R&D Convergence Technology Exhibition), and NextRegenX (International Advanced Regenerative Medicine Industry Exhibition). Together, they created an action-driven global platform that integrates exhibition, knowledge, investment, and networking in a seamless flow.
A total of 216 companies participated with 227 booths, attracting 4,765 domestic and international industry professionals. During the exhibition, 158 business partnership meetings and around 100 overseas buyer consultations were held, paving the way for concrete follow-up discussions.
While each exhibition maintained its own focus, they were seamlessly connected. KOREA LIFE SCIENCE facilitated discussions on new drug pipelines, manufacturing and quality management, and business development (BD). KOREA LAB Autumn drew attention with active consultations for introducing and comparing research and analytical equipment, as well as digital lab (LIMS/CSV) solutions. Despite being newly launched, NextRegenX linked issues across cell and gene therapy (CGT), bio-materials, and scale-up manufacturing, fostering collaboration across the entire ecosystem. Throughout the venue, points of demand, supply, and investment converged dynamically.

The energy at the venue intensified at the Conference & Forum section. On the first day, the International Forum on Advanced Regenerative Medicine Development Strategy, the Pharmaceutical & Bio Business Development Strategy Forum, and the Advanced Research Equipment OPEN LAB Workshop took place. In addition, the MPS-based Nonclinical Evaluation and Product Development Seminar and the Special Lecture on Korea’s Advanced Science and Technology drew full attendance early in the day.
On the second day, the Pharmaceutical & Biohealth Statistics Forum and the Data Integrity Forum garnered significant attention, particularly the latter. The Data Integrity Forum addressed topics such as “EU GMP Update Case Studies (Annex 11·Annex 22(AI))” and “In-depth Analysis and Response Strategies for EU GMP Chapter 4, Annex 11 Revisions, and the New Annex 22(AI).”
That same day, two sessions under the “Advanced Bio Technology Development Seminar” were held: “CAR Advanced New Drug Source Technology Development” and “Epigenome Regulation-Based Disease Control Source Technology Development.”
In the IR/Technology Transaction section, the event featured an Investment Forum for Prominent Bio Ventures and Startups, an R&D-Focused Pharmaceutical and Bio Company IR (IPIR), the CARM Open Innovation Investment Conference, and Technology Transfer and Investment Briefings. The event showcased a positive cycle where initial interest at exhibition booths developed into deeper discussions at forums and IR sessions, and later into concrete one-on-one meetings.

Networking accelerated tangible results. The 1:1 consultations with overseas buyers, business partnerships, and VC investment consulting sessions remained busy throughout the two days. At the Global Networking Reception (KOLS BEER PARTY) on opening night, speakers, exhibitors, investors, and buyers exchanged ideas freely, building new avenues of cooperation. The combination of pre-matched and on-site matchmaking facilitated highly focused and productive meetings.
Side programs also received strong responses. The Data Integrity Studio demonstrated Paperless workflows and advanced CSV strategies based on the ALCOA+ principle, engaging attendees interested in quality and regulatory issues. The Biohealth Safety & Health Special Zone showcased PPE and safety solutions applicable directly to laboratories and production sites. At the same time, the University-Industry Cooperation and Poster Zone promoted technology transfer pipelines and research outcomes, fostering exchanges between companies and researchers.
Kyungyon Exhibition CEO Kim Young-soo said, “This year’s KOREA LIFE SCIENCE WEEK 2025 effectively connected exhibitions, conferences, forums, investment, technology transfer, and networking while allowing KOREA LIFE SCIENCE, KOREA LAB Autumn, and NextRegenX to highlight their unique strengths. We confirmed the potential of this platform to generate real outcomes through on-site convergence of exhibition, knowledge, investment, and networking.”
KOREA LIFE SCIENCE WEEK will continue to expand its platform in 2026. The next event is scheduled for September 21–22, 2026, at COEX in Seoul. Organizer Kyungyon Exhibition stated, “We will strengthen the unique advantages of KOREA LIFE SCIENCE WEEK — where industry, research, investment, and networking meet in one space — to build even stronger global partnerships.”
