Epi Biotech is a biotechnology company specializing in the development of innovative treatments for hair loss. We are building a differentiated pipeline based on hair follicle cell therapy and gene-regulating therapeutics, including autologous and allogeneic dermal papilla cell therapies, antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs), and antibody-based candidates. With our in-house GMP manufacturing facility and extensive expertise in hair follicle and scalp biology, we also provide specialized preclinical CRO services for evaluating hair growth efficacy and mechanism of action.
Exhibit Description
Epi Biotech has proprietary technologies for the isolation, large-scale expansion, and GMP manufacturing of dermal papilla cells (DPCs), as well as target discovery and ASO design for hair loss therapeutics. Our pipeline includes autologous and allogeneic DPC-based cell therapies and ASO/antibody programs targeting key hair loss-related molecules such as CXCL12 and CKAP4. We also offer specialized CRO services using human hair follicle organ culture, ORS cells, dermal fibroblasts, and in vivo hair growth models to assess efficacy and mechanism of action.

Our capabilities include in vitro and ex vivo assays using human hair follicle organ culture (HFOC), outer root sheath (ORS) cells, and dermal fibroblasts, as well as in vivo alopecia models. We assess hair growth efficacy, cell migration, gene expression, and mechanisms of action, providing customized study design and data analysis based on our extensive expertise in hair loss drug development.

Product Name : Dermal Papilla Cell Therapy for Hair LossEpi Biotech's dermal papilla cell (DPC) therapy is a regenerative treatment for hair loss using DPCs, which play a central role in regulating hair follicle growth. Based on our proprietary technologies for DPC isolation, large-scale expansion, and GMP manufacturing, we are developing both autologous and allogeneic cell therapies. A key strength is maintaining the hair-inductive properties of DPCs during expansion while enabling clinically applicable manufacturing for the treatment of conditions including androgenetic alopecia.
