Uniwon PharmGene Inc., founded in 2022 as a faculty spin-off of Konkuk University, develops precisely targeted and safer RNA therapeutics. Our core technology is A2LC (Aptamer/Antibody-LNP Conjugate), a delivery platform that conjugates aptamers or antibody fragments to the surface of lipid nanoparticles. While conventional LNPs accumulate mainly in the liver, A²LC delivers mRNA, siRNA and anticancer drugs selectively to target cells throughout the body. This is combined with our dsRNA-free high-purity mRNA purification process.
Our lead program is an in vivo CAR-T mRNA delivery platform (CAR mRNA-A²LC): instead of extracting and engineering patient cells, a single injection delivers CAR mRNA to T cells inside the body. PTEN mRNA-ALC, a first-in-class tumor-suppressor mRNA therapy for castration-resistant prostate cancer, has shown a 90% reduction in tumor volume. We welcome joint R&D, licensing and investment partnerships.

Exhibit Description

We solve the two hardest problems in RNA medicine: reaching the right cells, and making the payload safely.
A2LC (Aptamer/Antibody-LNP Conjugate) conjugates aptamers or antibody fragments to the lipid nanoparticle surface. Unlike conventional LNPs, which accumulate mainly in the liver, it delivers mRNA, siRNA and cytotoxic drugs to target cells anywhere in the body, by intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous dosing.
NiLoT (Nicked Low-dsRNA Template) suppresses the formation of immunogenic double-stranded RNA at the template design stage rather than removing it after transcription, cutting dsRNA by about 90% while preserving yield (Nucleic Acids Research, 2026).
Products include CAR mRNA-A2LC for in vivo CAR-T, PTEN mRNA-ALC for prostate cancer, and IDO1 siRNA-ALC for breast cancer.
