Medicine Park is an 8-year-old R&D-focused biotech venture co-founded by an M.D. specializing in rehabilitation medicine and a Ph.D. in clinical nutrition. We develop preventive and therapeutic technologies for joint and connective tissue disorders(cartilage, collagen, bone, adipose tissues) using biopolymer materials.

Beyond new drug discovery, our primary goal is to generate revenue via expedited regulatory approvals and out-licensing(post-nonclinical or Phase 1/2a) by repurposing and modifying existing pharmaceuticals with novel indications to ensure proven safety in advance.

Pipeline:
-MP101-H: A disease-modifying intra-articular injection for knee osteoarthritis(Nonclinical end stage; currently developing specifications and test methods for clinical trial material)
-MP101-K9: A canine knee pain therapeutic(Preparing for investigator-initiated pilot trials)

Fundraising: Series A(Targeting MFDS IND filing in early 2027; raising funds for Phase 1/2a trials and canine pilot trial)

Exhibit Description

Medicine Park is developing a novel modified drug candidate (DMOAD) targeting fundamental structural disease modification rather than mere symptomatic relief for knee osteoarthritis. By reducing the molecular weight of a postbiotic biopolymer derived from lactic acid bacteria, originally used as a key component in a previously approved drug, we have eliminated the risk of allergic immune responses. Furthermore, by applying its dual mechanism of action, which modulates the intra-articular immune microenvironment to suppress synovial inflammation and cartilage matrix degradation, we are opening new possibilities in osteoarthritis treatment.
