SensDiscoverX provides customized evaluation solutions using an innovative drug screening platform that employs innovative targeted biosensors to precisely visualize drug efficacy, from in vitro and live cells to in vivo.
We develop and optimize biosensors that target specific biomolecules. These biosensors serve as drug efficacy evaluation tools that can be used throughout the all-in-one screening platform from in vitro to live cells and animal models.
We are focused on commercializing and offering these as an efficacy evaluation platform. For example, we are currently operating and advancing drug efficacy evaluation platform services for various targets, including KRAS, TEAD, the estrogen receptor(ER), and the androgen receptor(AR).

Exhibit Description

SensDiscoverX originates from historically encrypted biosensors. We design and develop these biosensors by integrating FRET technology to enable precise detection of target signals. Based on these biosensors, we have established versatile live-cell imaging and drug screening platforms (in vitro, live cell) to accurately evaluate the correlation between biomolecules and drugs in real time.
To date, we have developed biosensors targeting proteins that cause human cancers such as KRAS, TEAD, Estrogen Receptor, and Androgen Receptor and have built live cell imaging and drug screening platforms.
So, we hope to contribute to new drug development by collaborating on the development of screening platforms for novel pathological targets through joint development and technology partnerships.

  • Product Name : KRAS-Targeted Drug Screening Service
    KRAS is the most promising target, with mutations occurring in 23% of all human cancers. Our KRAS-targeted drug screening enables accurate and discriminatory efficacy measurements both in vitro and live-cell. The platform has been thoroughly validated primarily with drugs currently in clinical trials or those that have already been approved, and it also allows us to independently analyze the causes of failure for drugs that have failed in clinical trials. For example, MRTX113 entered clinical trials due to its strong inhibitory effect on KRAS-G12D, but its inhibition of KRAS-WT suggests that side effects are likely to occur. Furthermore, live-cell imaging allows us to distinguish between inhibitors of the active form (GTP) and the inactive form (GDP) of KRAS.

  • Product Name : TEAD-Targeted Drug Screening Service
    In the Hippo signaling pathway, TEAD proteins are important cancer targets because they are abnormally overexpressed and overactivated in most solid tumors. We have developed a precise drug screening platform based on the TEAD biosensors for the discovery of inhibitors that target YAP/TAZ-TEAD interactions in real time. Furthermore, as the platform specifically distinguishes between TEAD isoforms (TEAD1, 2, 3, 4), it enables the identification of which isoform a new drug specifically inhibits. Since drugs that inhibit TEAD3 can cause adverse effects such as nephrotoxicity in clinical settings, many biopharmaceutical companies are trending toward developing isoform-specific inhibitors. Furthermore, this technology derives IC50 values with high precision (R² > 0.9) in live cells.
