Peptree is a biotechnology company and the creator of PXP (Peptide eXpress Platform), a high-speed mass production platform for peptides based on Pseudomonas fluorescens. PXP utilizes ABC transporters to secrete target proteins out of the cell, eliminating cell lysis steps and simplifying the purification process to reduce setup costs and time. Peptree is currently using PXP to produce growth factors such as EGF, FGF1, FGF2, FGF7, and FGF10. We plan to expand our business scope to include ingredients for cosmetics and hair care, growth factors for organoid culture, GLP-1 analogs, and materials for pharmaceuticals. Our bacterial strains and secretion techniques continue to be developed. By combining AI-based protein design with PXP production, we are building an integrated R&D and CDMO platform that spans every step from candidate design to production and purification.
Exhibit Description
PXP (Peptide eXpress Platform) is Peptree’s core technology that utilizes the ABC transporter and LARD secretion signal native to Pseudomonas fluorescens to directly secrete recombinant peptides out of the cell. By eliminating cell lysis, inclusion body recovery, and refolding, PXP reduces the process from eight steps to four and shortens production time by 75%. Specialized bioreactors allow for easy scale-up and multi-product production. We combine AI-based sequence analysis, structure prediction, and optimization to enhance the production yield of our peptides. Our main product lines include EGF, IGF, and FGF1/2/7/10 for skin and hair care, organoid culture, and regenerative medicine. The pipeline will expand to GLP-1, BMP, HGF, VEGF, and Wnt proteins.
