Founded in 2002 by Jeonnam-do Province, the Jeonnam Bio Foundation was established
to drive biotechnology as a core strategic industry for the future. Since then, we have
developed extensive, state-of-the-art bio centers specializing in biopharmaceuticals,
natural compounds, marine biotechnology, functional foods, nanotechnology, and
eco-friendly agricultural life sciences.
By building a robust ecosystem, we provide end-to-end support for the bio industry. Our
services encompass R&D, technology transfer, equipment leasing and production support,
certification and analytical services, as well as global marketing, export facilitation, and
startup incubation. These efforts have not only contributed to the growth of the industry but
have also created high-quality employment opportunities in the region.
