K LAB designs, develops, and manufactures its UV-Vis, NIR, and Raman instruments in-house at its Daejeon headquarters. The flagship Alpha uses a dual stray-light suppression design (a shielded trap plus a rotating filter wheel) for strong linearity and stability at high absorbance. The NanoQ series pairs a xenon lamp with a CMOS array sensor and four fixed pathlengths to quantify nucleic acids/proteins from 1 microliter without dilution, auto-correcting for contaminants via full-spectrum analysis. The MRX plate reader supports 6- to 384-well plates and cuvettes, with endpoint, kinetic, and spectral scanning plus built-in shaking and incubation. In PAT, ProTec UV and ExPro Raman systems enable real-time process monitoring. Proprietary View and Secure software unify analysis and security.

Covering 190-1,100nm, it applies a dual stray-light suppression design combining a shielded stray-light trap with a rotating filter wheel, verified to maintain excellent linearity without signal saturation up to 3.9866 Abs. It features a Czerny-Turner monochromator (1,200 lines/mm blazed grating) and an 8-position auto-rotating multi-cell holder, controlled via an 8-inch touchscreen or the View PC software.
