Molecular Innovations Inc. is developing a new molecular entity (NME), “Resveratrone”, as drug candidates for metabolic diseases and cosmetic ingredients for skin care. “Resveratrone” was firstly discovered by irradiating UV to the famous natural phytochemical “Resveratrol”. At the time of discovery, it has not existed and therefore substance patents were registered, because its molecular structure was totally different from Resveratrol. Our company's independent research has recently shown that "Resveratrone" is effective in several diseases’ treatment centered on metabolism in addition to many skin care efficacies due to its strong anti-oxidant and other unique properties. For MoA (Mode of Action), additional indications, and follow-up development of “Resveratrone”, we are actively pursuing good partnerships such as joint R&D development through open innovation.
